Guest Ales: October
Always featuring two of the following during the month.
Fuller's – London Pride 4.1% ABV
London Pride is best known for its exceptional balance of malt and hops, giving rise to well-rounded flavour.
Wychwood – Hobgoblin 4.5% ABV
Traditionally craft brewed with chocolate and crystal malts and a blend of styrian, golding and fuggles hops to produce a full bodied ruby beer that delivers a delicious chocolate toffee malt flavour, balanced with a rounded moderate bitterness and overall fruity mischievous character.
Greene King – Old Speckled Hen 4.5% ABV
A very malty, full bodied and warming ale.
Robinsons – Dizzy Blonde 4.4% ABV
This light refreshing beer has a clean zesty hop dominated palate complemented by a crisp dry finish.
Marston’s – 61 Deep 3.8% ABV
Newest brew on the Burton block. 61 metres. That’s the depth of the well at the Brewery that gives this refreshing pale ale its name. The five American and Australian hops give it its fresh, zesty aroma, whilst the tropical fruit and citrus notes make it extremely drinkable. Dive in.
Fullers – Oliver’s Island 3.8% ABV
A glorious gold colour, Oliver’s Island sets off with delicate floral and citrus aromas from those hard-working hops. On the palate, there’s distinctive biscuity, grapefruit flavour, tropical notes and refreshing zesty qualities, before the beer draws towards the line with a crisp, malty finish.
